The museum is part of the Fundació Mallorca Literària and is dedicated to preserving and promoting the work and legacy of the Mallorcan poet and folklorist Rafel Ginard Bauçà (1899-1976), who was an essential collector of oral culture and the author of the "Cançoner Popular de Mallorca."

    Puig de Sant Nofre is a mountain located in the Pla de Mallorca, at the boundary between the municipalities of Sant Joan and Sineu. With an elevation of 254 meters, it is part of the Sa Bastida estate and is designated as an area of special natural interest. Various conservation efforts are carried out in this area to protect both its natural environment and historical heritage.

    The geological characteristics of this mountain are distinct compared to other surrounding areas, as it features a layer from the Upper Eocene covered by a thick deposit of parareef calcareous sediments. These formations, linked to reefs or nearby environments, show sedimentological features that can also be identified in other locations such as Bonany and Randa.
